Join us to mark Transgender Day of Visibility on March 25th with a film screening of Any Other Way: The Jackie Shane Story at the Welland Campus in Room AH255 from 2:00pm-4:00pm. The event will include a screening of the film followed by an opportunity for reflection and discussion.

Film Description
A lost R&B star who eclipsed Etta James and Little Richard, trans soul singer Jackie Shane blazed an extraordinary trail with an unbreakable commitment to her truth. Forty years after vanishing from public view, this 20th century icon finally gets her second act.
