Welcome! I’m Jess Mazzonello, a passionate fitness enthusiast with 13 years of experience and 5 years as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor in the field. As a fitness professional, I believe in building a strong foundation that promotes lifelong movement and well-being.
Certifications: Certified Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist, Strength and Conditioning Specialist & Clinical Exercise Physiologist.

We offer a variety of engaging Fitness Classes for all abilities and experience levels, as well as Small Group and 1 on 1 Personal Training.
Small Group and 1 on 1 Personal Training includes the following process:
For your first session, choose Initial Assessment in the booking page.
Your initial session with your fitness coordinator, will be going through fitness assessments, and goal setting to create an individualized program, or program for your group.
You will then book your sessions through our booking page to receive guided workouts with your trainer.
For the first time Niagara College is offering a Powerlifting club. Powerlifting is a strength sport that consists of three attempts at maximal weight on three lifts: Squat, Bench Press, and Deadlift. This involves the athlete attempting a maximal weight single-lift effort of a barbell loaded with weight plates. See below for more details.

Hello! My name is Brett. I'm an enthusiastic and inspiring fitness professional with 20 years of experience as a Certified Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor, Educator and Entrepreneur serving the Niagara Region.
Qualifications: Certified Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Leader and Indoor Cycling Instructor. Mental Health First Aid and CPR/AED/First Aid Certified, Bachelor of Physical Education (BPhEd) and Master of Education (MED).

Small Group and 1 on 1 Personal Training includes the following two-step process:
Step 1 - Fitness Consultation - Meet with your Fitness Coordinator to establish goals and perform basic movements. This process identifies your unique needs and establishes the starting point for your overall fitness program.
Step 2 - Personal Training/Small Group Training - Participate in guided workouts with your Coordinator/Trainer, using the fitness program developed for you during your Fitness Consultation.

Have you ever seen an Indoor Cycle class and thought "That looks tough!" Well, so are you! While it can certainly be physically demanding, Indoor Cycling is actually fairly simple to learn! DROM is a wellness practice that blends rhythm and mindfulness to help reduce stress, improve focus, and boost overall well-being. It’s an accessible, engaging way to support your mental health and recharge during a busy semester.
A class designed for all levels from beginner to advanced yogi. Barb's approach to yoga is very intuitive, being more interested in how you feel in each of the poses and the flow rather than the look of the perfect pose. If you have your own yoga mat, strap and 2 blocks please bring with you to class. If you don’t, that’s alright. We’ve got you covered! A typical class will start with breath work, warm up, core work and a flow.
